Talisman art on deviantART

By nodgenesor, in Talisman

Recently I went to have a look to see if any more artwork had been uploaded & got the message:

File not found, no page exists at your destination address.

Has Nemomon's page been taken down? Are there copyright problems?

Hoping someone can shed some light on this.

Same here, so strange. I believe he was being careful about acquiring permission from all artists, so maybe he just didn't have time for it anymore.

Hello Nodgenesor and JC Hendee,

unfortunately FFG Staff has contacted me about it, requesting deleting it.

That nine months was a quite fun time for me, and I'm happy that I was able to run it that much time.

I want to say a big "thank You" to You all for Your interest in Talisman Art Database.

Thank You!

Darn! I got some interesting wallpaper for fun, but I guess all good things come to an end.

That's a shame Nemomon.

Is the artwork still visible on the sites of the various artists?

Hi Nemomon,

So the Talisman artbase has been ended now? sorpresa.gif

It was a fun website with all the great artwork stuff.

How are you,

It feels a long time ago when we spoke to each other gui%C3%B1o.gif

Hello Velhart!

Indeed, long time I didn't saw You nor talk with You. Maybe soon that will change gui%C3%B1o.gif

Artwork is still available in DeviantArt, You just will need to use search feature to get them.

It can be possible to gather them in one place, enough will be creating a new user account and just make favorite given artwork from Talisman artist. That's even quicker way than in my group I had, for example because You don't need to wait for artist approval.

However few things changed in my life, and therefore I'm unable now to put myself in this project. But if someone is interested, I only can say that pretty almost all artist I've met when I was running TAD were nice to me and willing to help.

I don't really get how putting that art together could go against the interest of Fantasy Flight Games, since that artwork was ALREADY online on the same site and you just provided a way to make the search easier.

If there is a good argument in favor of the group removal, I cannot see one.
