exsploring

By Lord Aaron, in Sid Meier's Civilization: The Board Game

just kinda wondering about this one for a while now. When scouting a unexplored map tile, dose the unit doing the exploring have to be in a certain place along the edge of the tile. ie, can you be on the top right corner of a map tile and use 1 more the explore the tile above you and move into it, essentially putting your unit in the bottom right square of the 2nd tile(assuming no water in the way). Or do you have to be in one of the two middle sqaures to go into a unexspored sqaure? Or be going INTO one of the two middle squares in the unexspored tile?

or am i just on crack and and you can go into any square from any square next to it....?

thanks,

LA

If you're on a board edge you can use a point of movement to explore. So sitting at a corner and using two points of movement to explore both adjacent tiles is a perfectly valid plan. A good first turn move really.

huh, never thought of that.. but given how i thought it worked you can see why... but thanks!
