Just would like to clarify the German setup of division 2, it states Any Building hex on map 30B and south of the road on map 29B.

Is south of the road on 29B , south on the north directional marker (so in the line of buildings on 29B)

Im also wondering if it is ment to be south of the road on map 27B (this would make more sence)

I have had a look through the FAQ and forums but have found nothing.

I am planning to play this one next session, like to hear anyones thoughts on this one if you have played it.

Haven't played it yet, but I've wondered about the same thing. Also, where are the panzer IVs, the most numerous German tank in Normandy???

The german just has to realize that they need to

1) play agressive

2) keep the goal in mind. KIll enemy tanks! Nothing else matters. (use infanteri, artellery, mortars and whatever you can throw at the enemy tanks)

3) Dont bother moving the King tiger tank. Its way to fragile. Put it on op-fire mode and wait for the shermans to come.

Thanks Grand stone but how did you set up German divsion 2, on 29 or 27?

Sadly I cant remember, and I dont have my TOI copy here to check it either. But i thought I remember I set them up far from entry point for the british.

I don´t think there is a typo in the rules and I assume that map 29B should indeed be map 29B. Since a Tiger is on an adjacent mapboard as well as is a German reinforcement area, a German infantry presence on 29B is perfectly justifiable imho.

You place them either in the line of houses or on the intersection with 7B beyond.

I am now confused there is a tread on BGG ToI Normandy under rules with Rob Koubar apparently clearing up the setup. (Although he did not create the scenario) Please Bill when you get back home clear this up for us.
