I have only played a few scenarios, and I don't want to read through the rest so as not to completely spoil them. I know there is no combat with the GOOs like in Arkham Horror, but do any of the scenarios mention any of them by name? If not, then I'm sure that's something that could be added in the expansions that are sure to follow. Man, I'm already jonesing for some expansions.

Ithaqua is the only one mentioned as far as I know.

The stories seem to be more "local" plots than overall world dominance ones, so Old Ones don´t seem to participate directly. Maybe in the near future?

Thanks for the info. I like the fact that the stories aren't exclusively about summoning creatures, or ancient gods. HPL had a lot of stories that had nothing to do with the GOOs, and I like the direction of some of the objectives. That being said, I'm sure we will see some scenarios in the future that have to do with summoning a Great Old One, and this would be a welcome addition imo.
