Be sure to inquire about the language of the game. I ordered a copy of Dunwich from The Book Depository on Amazon a few weeks ago and it was in German. I emailed them after I purchased it and I was able to cancel the order before it shipped. I knew to ask about the language because I've already gotten burnt trying to get an inexpensive copy of Dunwich from the United Kingdom. I currently have a brand new copy of Das Grauen von Dunwich Erweiterung which I cannot read. I could return it but I would have to eat the shipping which is $30 usps.

Thank you for the heads up! A friend of mine just ordered it today, so I'll tell him to ask. Everything on Amazon showed an english copy, but sadly not everyone is as honest as they should be.><
Unfortunately Avi,I have zero interest in learning German. And besides I've already gotten an english copy. But If you would like to start a German AH collection I can surely help you out.

You do know FFG does have it listed in as a reprint in the upcoming products section. Sure, it may still be some months away, but more copies are coming.

This is obviously for those who don't have it :-p I know I was lucky and got mine just as they started disappearing (thanks Barnes and Noble!). Sometimes we don't WANT to wait a few months!
I've only been playing AH for about a year and I don't get to play nearly as much as I'd like. It's by far my favorite boardgame and I had every intention of picking up the expansions. I just assumed they would always be easily available and didn't worry about when I got them. I knew I wanted Dunwich to be my first bix box expansion but by the time I decided to get it they were gone. And now Dark Pharoah and Black Goat are getting rare. Now with the new expansion on the horizon I, like alot of other people, want to complete their collections before it comes out. So your choices come down to paying the ebay vultures or wait a week, a month, maybe a year.

Well... You can just get the new expansion and not add the components for sets you don't have yet until you get those sets.
Agreed, Avi. While having them all is ideal with that set, plenty of things you can use, otherwise. I'm sure you can find plenty of expansions in the meantime, and still get plenty of fun out of the box before you get the other ones!
Those are fine ideas as long as you have the patience to hold out for the reprint of Dunwich. Do you agree that Dunwich is the best expansion for AH? With the gate bursts and the injury/madness cards most think its a must have.

Well, I wish I had known this game existed 6 years ago. It's only luck that I found out about these games when I did. I was looking for a video game review and ended up with a Tom Vassel board game review. So Thank You Tom!

CotDP has been impossible to find for a long time. Hadn't heard about Black Goat going the same way, though - I know of at least one game shop in Scotland that has a copy, maybe two or three (shops and/or copies).

There's a company out of Washington called housefullofgames.com that still has a few copies of Black Goat for 17.95. They just recently ran out of CotDP within the last few weeks.

I e-mailed them, all they have are German copies.
FYI don't order from aphrohead_books_uk. This is the company that sold me the German Dunwich game that I still have. This was also an Amazon purchase. Completely English advertisment. Picture was of an English copy also.
As it turns out the ones I found on Amazon are all German copies with an English advertisement. I feel like the biggest idiot on earth for posting this thread up.

Hey, don't be too hard on yourself. Remember, AH is played all around the world, and this is an excellent oppurtunity for all German players out there.
I got 'stung' TWICE before Christmas. Both times the advertisements clearly showed the English versions of the expansion. Neither company stated in the advert that the expansion was in German. I was eventually lucky enough to track down an English version from another UK outlet...

From them, it isn't. All they have are German
Does anyone know where to find the base game or expansions in spanish on the united states?
I ordered a copy from that shop via amazon last month, turned out to be in French, so I canceled the order before it arrived. As luck would have it, it got lost in the post anyway. Strange things happen when Cthulhu is involved. Still pretty gutted that I have to wait to get Dunwich.
