We had our first RT session yesterday, and one player has a xeno mesh armor.

This is listed as 4 AP i Dark Heresy and not in the errata, but as a 3 AP in Rogue Trader...

Which is correct?

Typo. Lady Ash in the endeavour at the back of the book has a xeno-mesh suit with 4AP. The Eldar Corsair has better armour though... Fun times. Assume it's meant to be 4.

Okay. I was leaning towards that. My player will be very happy for having 2 extra wounds :-)

Doesn't Lady Ash have best quality xeno-mesh though, meaning that she would have AP 4 due to the +1 bonus for having it as best quality? That's how I'd always read that, meaning that Xeno Mesh in RT is indeed only AP 3.

Doesn't say it's Best in the description.
