Fan-Made Scenarios

By Havoc11, in Mansions of Madness

Well I've finally completed my first scenario with a friend. We still need to test it with some people I game with so its not play tested at all. I'm going to type it up soon so I'll upload it as a beta version or something to see what you guys think. I decided to separate the map into 2 parts. One has a chapel and a graveyard beside it. On top of the center grave I put a ladder token which connects to the actual house via a long cave. There are 4 keeper choices, which when we counted the number of steps between possible clue locations the max number of turns only varied by 3-4 turns, which for a first go seems ok. We timed our events based on where you should be if you are going from one place to the next fairly directly. we ended up having the last event take place in 31 turns making it a little long for my taste but not too much longer than green eyed boy (which is 25 turns). The map uses every map piece. give me a sec and I'll try to type it up for you guys to give me some input on. I don't want to write out full clues yet since locations might change but I'll type out some general guidelines for what to say. The fine text hasnt been fleshed out fully but I feel like you keepers out there have probably played enough games and have enough imagination to fill in some blanks.

I'll not spoil anything but the basic prologue has you go and investigate some odd happenings at your families grave. An odd rune has appeared one the stone (the cave has a runelocked door on it) and something seems off.....

As a side note I wish the game came with a door lock card that used the suitcase lock

sounds like a great game , i'm tempted .

Hi everyone, first time poster here. I am uploading some Word templates over on Boardgamegeek, to provide easily typeable cards for MoM.

The first is here , covering Objective, Event and Clue cards. I have some more on the way for other type of cards.

I believe the real strength of this great game is using it as a 'sandbox' to create fan stories. The modular nature of the game is just perfect for that.

This is awesome. Thanks!

I wonder if anyone is working on an MoM plug-in for Strange Eons...

There is one in progress as we type. I believe they hope to have it out in June. :)

Darn all you for making me feel so lazy with your "templates" and "Scenarios"!gui%C3%B1o.gif In all seriousness, nice job on these. I need to get crackin' on some myself.
