Suitcase card is misprinted.
I would go with the picture, and ignore the text.

Sorry, I was just mentioning the card was misprinted. I should have put that in the first post. Going with the picture is the only course of action you could take, you can't go with the text because then you would not know how to align the starting peice. The card should just read 6B instead of 6A. Its a simple and quick fix, I just wanted to make it known there was a misprint, even AFTER the seven replacement cards they give you with the game for the other misprints.
That's what my game came with too, have you e-mailed customer support to ask about it?
Nope, doesn't really bother me that much. I just wanted to point it out so that people knew what to expect and it could be added to errata.
Considering all the Obstacle and Lock cards are the #A puzzles, I'm going with it is supposed to be 6A. Also, puzzle 6B is shown elsewhere, with the right starting tile, and a different puzzle token configuration, which says to me the layout image on the suitcase is correct, they just put the wrong starting tile side there.
From Corey Konieczka,
"As far as the Suitcase card, the card text is correct (puzzle "6A")."

Seeing as the designer has said the text is correct (6A), why do you think this would mean you could not align the starting piece? I only got the game today so haven't had a chance to try out the puzzle mechanics yet, so I'm interested to know why you think this.

You have to set the puzzle up according the the picture. As in, you have no idea where the random other peices go around the starting peice, or which orintation the starting piece should be in.
Being as the email I got from Corey only said to use the text, the picture is wrong, I'm just guessing that Im sposed to use 6A, rotated with the text on the peice facing a readable direction, with 4 random peices in each of the corners (kind of like the setup already on the card)
But there are puzzles in the game that use the starting peices in diffrent configurations, Meaning its not as easy as "grab starting peice 6A and slap 4 randoms around it" it could be two randoms only in the bottom left and bottom right.
But there is already a puzzle 6B with a different setup, so logically, the setup for the suitcase is correct.
I am terrible at reading... ignore me.
Part of this game is not knowing what all the cards are. I'm usre if I went thru and read all the cards I could easy figure out what was sposed to be on this one.
Skimming through all the cards looking for a lock puzzle without looking at the text or title of the card doesn't give anything away. I have no idea which specific card puzzle 6B is on.
Doesn't page 20 of the Rulebook have pictures of every solved "A" puzzle in the game, including all the rune ones? You don't need to look at the picture for the A ones, the setup will always be the same as those puzzles in the guide which is what I have followed each time. The picture is merely a reminder if you cant remember what the guide showed.
I believe A & B lock puzzles are two sides of the same start piece, so the layout is exactly the same and the only difference are the symbols/colors on the start piece.

Nope. 6B has a piece in the upper left and another piece to the left of that, and one in the upper right with a piece to the right of that.
Ah yes. That's right. It's the strange layout for the front door lock.

You are correct, every puzzle does not have the same layout.
