A few more questions

By oldthrashbarg, in Arkham Horror Second Edition

First of all a great thank you to everyone who has answered my questions so far. It's really good to have a forum like this to help out new players.

I have a few more questions:

1. Is it possible to cash in more than once a term in a given location? e.g. the Science building allows you to exchange 1 gate trophy for 2 clue tokens. Can you exchange 2 gate trophies for 4 clue tokens in one turn?

2. What happens when one rumour is in play and another comes up? I seem to recall something about ignoring subsequent rumours, but I don't know where.

3. I can't find John Legrasse among my ally cards. Should I contact Fantasy Flight Games? Just making sure that the card wasn't left out of later editions or something.

Thanks a lot.

1. Location special abilities happen "Instead of having an encounter here". Since you can only have one encounter per Encounter Phase, you can only have one thing in place of an encounter per Encounter Phase.

2. Page 12 of the AH book, left column, under Rumours.

3. I have John Legrasse in my box, which is the reprinted edition, so yours is missing I guess.

Excellent. Thanks a lot for the speedy reply.

Make sure this card didn;t get stuck to one of the others. I have been hearing of a lot of cards getting stuck to the one in front of them and it appears a card is missing, when all you need to do is separate them. This has mostly been in Adroid, but it might be possible the problem is happening elsewhere.

THIS happened to me. I overturned the entire house looking for The Messenger , only to find him stuck to another ally.

This has happened to me as well except it was Jeffery Doyal and the Blight cards. It was funny. I read all the blight cards and when I was done I was like "wait, I thought that one of these guys caused riots". I had just been reading a topic about "lost cards" so I had my suspisions and checked every card very carefully and there it was.

I can't believe this; I read your post, went to the deck, and got the John Legrasse card. All within the space of 10 seconds. Christ. I simply didn't think there was ANY chance of cards STILL being stuck to each other; I've played the game about 10 times, separating and collecting the decks each time. Not to mention going through all the cards last night using the list on this forum. *manic embarassed grin*

Better you learned of it on the forum. I was practically frothing at the mouth when mine went missing.

When I first got Dunwich, I was missing a brown location card. Thaad got me a new one mailed out, and then a few days later I mysteriously had a second copy of it. It must have gotten stuck to the original.

Oh well, no waste; I got new copies of some cards that had printing errors (ink related).
