And in Spring - FFG is giving me a place to spend all my former D&D book money, this, Mansions of Madness, Miskatonic Horror. I just cleaned out the local gamestore of a couple of boxes of sleeves in anticipation.

The new Omens preview (listing?) on the FFG main page is slick. That box cover art is juicy. And is that a bloodthirster, hound, and Champion of Khorne I'm seeing in the cutouts? If only those cards were clearer.

Otherwise I just have to say: YIIEEEHAA! I've been wanting this box since Sifting through shadows came. It will be glorious, blood for the blood god, skulls for his skull throne!

As I could recognise at the "Dangerous Modification" Action Card you can "add" this card to a normal rifle or pistol action to give a higher reach and/or more damage and, of course, more dangerous for the shooter.

So this way I have a new Idea to invent Enhance Action Cards for hitting specific body Location. This really pleases me! I hope it works.

I'm excited not only about the Rules Stuff, the action cards and all that, but about the hint of the coming battles. Because this means, they are really going to do the big campaign dealing with the Storm of Chaos. I'm still waiting for the next big TEW-like thing, and although the Chaos-Invasion theme will have a completely different atmosphere from the TEW, considering the high quality of 3rd edition adventures so far, it could really succeed to be something utterly awesome.

And I can't wait to see the adventure included in OoW!

Think I can see at least one challenge dice there too. No roll for DM, which makes me think 'enhance' cards literally alter existing cards. The reqs for this are (from what I can see) 'Black Powder Weapon equipped. You must perform an assist manouevre to load extra powder. Enhances a ranged attack'

There's also a few scary azz demon standups, and a flesh hound. Excited...
