@Rings: Yeah, I'm going to try to read this one as if it's the very last one, with no expectations about future books (could be difficult). Then if more eventually come out, great!

Hmm... I think this is what will happen.

2 weeks from now: first printing is sold out via pre order.

Jul 12th: 1/4 of preorders delivered. At this point GRRM happens on a stash and signs them, giving them out to some of the missed preorders.

Aug 7th: I'll finally have mine shipped from Amazon (oh crap I forgot about Gencon... whats this trophy doing in my room?)

Aug 20th: After being delaed in Decautur, GA it finally actually ships.

Aug 23rd: A UPS guy slaps a sticker on my door.

Aug 24th: I argue with UPS to either let me get the **** book from their HQ or leave it at my apt.

Sept 1st: Finally get the **** book by paying again at Barnes and Noble.

Sept 2nd: Curse GRRM because no matter how awesome the book is, the hype of waiting 6-7 years will make the 24 hrs it takes to read it seem paltry. I will be disapointed and exhausted.

Dec 14th I actually rise up and start looking at cards again... and thinking of book 6. And then realize there probably will never be a book 6, since some anguished fan sent GRRM off.

Jan 2nd: I realize the blood on my clothing has not actually washed out. Oh crap. I turn myself into the police.

Jan 3rd: After a night in Jail the police tell me, GRRM is happy and well, and the blood is actually tomato soup, and recomend a shrink.

Jan 4th: I call Nate French while sitting on a couch. He asks about my mother.

Jan 6th: Dobbler shows up and asks for his **** trophy back.

... ok maybe that will not happen.

Oh forgot Aug 30th: Luke shows up with a plot deck, when we realize it is in fact not mine... we then stare at the viewer and ask "Well whose plot deck is it?"

Just give me half a book of Tyrion and half a book of Jon
