Ok, so when this year started I got to wonder that every year we only get one cycle. The battle pack are called monthly expansions but so far they did not come every month. So when FFG annouced the Morrslieb cycle and that it should start January I thought - wow so there's a chance that it will end June, then we will geat a Deluxe and the next cycle will start. But now there are some delays, this cycle startet just a couple days ago and that worries me. Does this mean we won't see the next cycle this year?

So my question is - do You all fans think that there's a chance that in the future we will be getting a battle pack every month and 2 cycles per year with 1 deluxe per year?

PS. The strange thing is that I heared a rumour that the next cycle after Morrslieb is already almost done. It's got a title (I wish I could say it but I can't) and there are almost all cards done. But like I say it's only a rumour but every rumour contains a seed of truth.

I'm guessing that they will plan two cycles a year. With delays and such, I'm sure it will boil down to more like 3 cycles over two years. Not bad in my opinion. Sometimes my wallet hopes for a break from a monthly purchase. I'm not surprised that they would be nearly done with the next cycle. It's about the right timing, considering they have to send them to print, then get them back from the printer and then ship them out. This could explain why it's pretty hard for FFG to respond in the game to weaknesses discovered after the sets release.

It's probably just that...a "rumor." Whoever is leaking you information is probably somewhat unreliable. I'd just wait until FFG provides us with some concrete information before going any further.

He published it on his blog and boasted that in 2010 He finished a lot of materials for the next cycle after Morrslieb. He even writen the name of next cycle. The next day after that His blog was closed down.

That's why I know and I'm almost sure that the next cycle is ready in 90%.

I only hope that FFG will keep up with monthly battlepack and in june/july 2011 we will get the last battle pack from Morrslieb cycle. The we will get the Deluxe and a new cycle would start this year. I think it even was a plan at FFG that this Year we would get two complete cycles.

Hmmm, I'd take that whole thing as a massive rumor simply because they don't have any "freelancers" working on Battlepacks - their LCG designers are all on staff and permanent employees. So it's probably just a huge false rumor - sorry FFG Fan.

BTW, I did get your messages but have been unable to figure out how to PM you back. The gist of my reply is that I'm unable to share any information that I may have - I did sign an NDA and intend to stick to it. Sorry man. You'll just have to be patient for information. FFG will release news as they think best.

I readed at a graphic artist blog who done some arts for the Morrslieb cycle (His first job for FFG) and is still working for FFG. He claims to paint some arts for cards in Morrslieb and that He has done the same for the next cycle. Personaly I did not see any of his works on official cards so I can't confirm that. But still it's a rumour in my opinion with a seed of truth in it.

I'm still hoping to see a next cycle this year after the Deluxe. And that FFG will be publishing a new battle pack every month.

Perhaps they should have some delays after each cycle to allow balancing.
