I have to start by saying that I really like this game, now with the Revised Rules, but I am very disappointed with the Pathfinder system. In theory, this sounds like a great way to avoid Line of Sight issues that sometimes come up in miniatures games. You should be able to immediately see if two miniatures can see each other, and movement should be a breeze. Unfortunately, at least for me, in execution, the maps have several instances where it is difficult to see if two circles are adjacent. This should just not be the case as it destroys the utility of the system. The tactical maps are suppose to aid this, but I "disagree" with them in several spots, especially on the Daedelus map.
What do others think about this? Am I reading the maps wrong? Please help.
[EDIT - I forgot to label a box at the top, that seems to be missing a link.]
A - Seems to be missing a link
B - Other "one way arrow" links are not marked on tactical map
C - Other "one way arrow" links are not marked on tactical map
D - Seems to be missing a link
E - Seems to be missing a link
F - Seems to be missing a link
G - Seems to be missing a link
H - This one I am not too sure about, but it seems to be missing a link. Perhaps not because the circles on on different paths.
I - This link is longer than either J or K
J - Seems to be missing a link
K - Seems to be missing a link
L - In the Revised Rules, this circle is Yellow and Blue, but on my map and in this old version of the Tactical Map, it is Blue and Pink.
(I also hate that the fact that you cannot see the modifier in a circle while a miniature is on it. Instead, the symbols should have been outside and next to the circle, but that is another story.)
