Question about CAG when playing without it.

By andrzejsob, in Battlestar Galactica

Hello this is my first question on this forum so i want to write somthing about me. I am from poland so I am sorry for my english :D . And now back to the question. Yesterday i get the exodus expension and i have one problem. In the rolebook there is a second option that place CAG in the game but there are few ( i think 6 ) crisis card in the expension with CAG CHOOSES type. With player is choosing the decision on that type of crisis if we are playing without the second option "The cylon fleet". I read the manual, the faq and cant get the answer. I even search the forum, but i have no answers for CAG phrases in the forum. In the manual CAG is defind something like this : The cag title card is use only when playing the cylon flet option. So who chooses in that type of crisis card. Thx for answer.

I think when you play without the "Cylon Fleet" option the rules say you take out all cards that say "CAG chooses".

You could as well just let the admiral choose or the current player.

I agree with that. From my understanding the CAG title and any cards related to the CAG are only used with "Cylon Fleet" option.

Yea, just discard the Crisis from the game and draw a new one, better than looking through the whole Crisis deck at the beginning of every game.
The Cylon Fleet option is really good though, much better than the attack Crisis cards, and it gives the pilots something to do... you should definitely use it!

"CAG chooses" Crisis and Super Crisis Cards are returned to the box when not using Cylon Fleet option. The rule is hard to find at first, but it is mentioned in part 2 of Expansion setup on page 5.
