1. If a knight player has a the plot that gives his knights immunity to character abilities, does this protect them from being stealthed? Does stealth count as a character ability? I know deadly does, but i have had varying opinions on stealth.

2. If a character has stealth, and you attach a attachment that also gives it stealth. How would balons host resolve? Would balons host remove both applications of stealth, or just one of them, having the unit retain stealth?

3. Confirmation: Ambush can be done at any time you can play a player action. Not just beginning of turn.

No, they are not immune to stealth. No, stealth is a keyword, and thus no a character ability.

Also, deadly is also NOT a character ability, as it is a keyword.

FAQ v.2.1 Pg 8 - (3.7) Card Abilities:
"Card abilities" (i.e. "Character ability," "Location ability," or "Attachment ability") refers to anything in a card's text box, except for traits, keywords, and flavor text. "Card abilities" also refers to any abilities (again, keywords and traits are excluded) gained by card effects.

Not too sure about this one, but I would venture that losing all will include losing multiple similar effects, so it removes both.

It's in the core rules.

Usually, when something says "loses stealth," you would only lose it once (so that it could be overcome with enough "gains stealth" effects). Balon's Host is a special case., though. By specifically saying you lose *all* keywords does end up taking all instances of the keyword (so that the net effect is always "no keyword").

Items like aggos bow and dawn. They "kill a participating character" for the most part.

If I attack someone, and they defend with 1 character, and i ambush aggos bow onto aggo, I can then trigger the bow's ability to kill a defending character. Does it die immediately? Does it still block? Is the challenge unopposed? Thanks.

Remember that in this game, each part of the challenge (1. declaring the attackers, 2. declaring the defenders, and 3. resolving the challenge) is completely separate from the others. And you resolve each effect in this game completely before the next is initiated. So if you kill the only defending character in the "Player Actions" space between "part 2" and "part 3" of the challenge, the defending character is removed from the table completely before you get to resolving the challenge. And since the only time the game looks to see what the challenge STR is for each side - and if the challenge is opposed or not - is during "resolving the challenge," the fact that the defending character is dead and gone means it doesn't contribute anything to defending/opposing the challenge.
