Alright, you all saw the announcement on the home page ... who is going to put up this year's event? Philly? DC? Or, does NYC have to be the center of the horror once again?
OK, Who's going to host the 2011 CoC East Coast Regionals?
Actually, it will be on the Island of Alameda, CA. You see there is a gate that connects our spheres...
I think Philly (well Roslyn, technically) is going to submit an application. Of course unless we can get the NYC crowd to head south, and perhaps the Delaware/MD crowd to head north we won't get the numbers we need to make this optimal...
Would anyone here come over to the Philly area for this event? In our submission we need to project how many people would attend...
And, if NYC or DE or whomever wants to do it and thinks they can get a better draw than we can, I'm happy to step down.
Professer, if you are going to put in an application I certainly will not submit a competing one. I'm pretty sure we have a few NYC players who would enjoy a day trip to the Philadelphia area, as well. Finally, if it makes sense, I can seek support from the Compleat Strategist through their store in the Philly area.
Aw heck. I am very excited for Regionals on the East Coast. You guys make it happen. I support the whole yarn.
I can make the nyc trip only though.
Philly is not that much farther Johnny! About 2 hours more.
If we do Philly I'll be driving from NYC , and have room 5 more (comfortably) and 7 more (with a squeeze) in my mini van of horror.
Just got word from my store - we will be hosting Regionals in the Philadelphia suburbs (Roslyn, PA). I think it is June 4, but I need to wait for the owner to get back from GAMA to be sure.
Hope to see lots of you folks there! not just NYC, how about our southern kin? Delaware? New Jersey? Maryland? DC?
It's very likely I'll make the trip Prof.
I've been in hiding since GenCon, but I'm still playing. ![]()
Excellent! Looking forward to it.
On a side note:
It would be really nice if someone can film some matches.
For the european guys like me, who can't attend but love to see some CoC tourney games in action.
Just updating to reinvigorate the spirit - June 4th, 7th Dimension Games, Roslyn PA (just outside Philly, 1 block from the train station).
Hope to see you all!!

Hopefully I'll see/meet many of you this Saturday at 7th Dimension Games for the North East Regionals competition!
Tournament will start play at 1:00 p.m., so please try to be there earlier (like noon) to get registered and whatnot.
See you there!
Some tournament guidelines for this Saturday's Regionals (June 4, 2011):
No asylum packs later than Aspirations of Ascension. It is possible that Gleaming Spiral will be out before Saturday, but that's not enough street time, so cards from that pack will not be allowed.
Black bordered cards will be permitted if it has been re-printed as a white bordered card.
FAQ 1.4 will be used to clarify errata, corrections and resolve any rules questions that may arise.

Hello Northeast Regionals!
Can't believe it was over a year ago I competed in New York. Sorry to miss this year in Philly.
Thanks to all FFG CoCLCG folks in the region for keeping the nightmare alive!
And so, who won? Who won less? Who brought what? What were the patterns? What was an anomoly?
Report yearned, shoes
Shoes: A distinct thread has the details of the deck lists and final standings. Sorry not to see you again this year... hopefully we will meet up again over Cthulhu in the near future!
