Thanks...and sorry for the run-around.

No problem... not working on android would have been very bad since it is based on safari ;-)

Gulado the list NYC has is based mostly on what I came up with... its mostly accurate.

Anything reprinted up to 5KE was in FFG's official reprint list, so that is accurate (even if say lannisport brothel is unique in one, and not in the other).

You also shouldn't rely on jquery, its probably why the site doesn't work well in phones. Client side scripting (which is what jquery is) relies on the user having a browser that can handle it. You should at the least work with dabbler and use his php (or use my rails) to provide at least a fallback for browsers and mobile phones that can't support your site.

The site is working properly on android and iphones. As told, since we plan to make an APP we don't concentrate too much on making the site fully commpatible with mobiles, even if at the moment there is only the deck builder scrolling issue in add cards that is not handled by touch devices.

Thx for the tips related to card list and site functionalities. As wrote to you via pm on the site. We have a lot of wishlist planned so, step by step, we will implement all.

Ps just to be clear. I'm not the programmer of the site but only DB manager ;-) Andrea Coronese is the programmer... so I'm not so technical in web design ;-)

Maybe I'm doing this all wrong. Any suggestions for how to do this better would be very helpful!

Actually, CardGameDB's deckbuilder doesn't work well on my Android phone. Again, it could be user error (I'm no doubt doing something wrong), but the problem seems to be that once I add a few cards to a decklist, I can't scroll through the existing list. When I try to scroll within a widget on a page, the whole page instead tries to scroll. (Does that make sense? Basically, whenever I use my finger to scroll, the whole page attempts to scroll.)

Maybe I'm doing this all wrong. Any suggestions for how to do this better would be very helpful!

@Bloodycelt: I'm not familiar with what gualdo is doing with it and I'm not as familiar with jQuery as I am with prototype, but jQuery should work fine on mobile phones with some small exceptions. Those mostly having to do with a touch interfaces difference to a regular browser. jquery.com/test can show what methods work and what don't for each browser.

@Twn2dn: I'd imagine on android it is the same as on an iPhone. If you use 2 fingers to scroll the section it should work.

Thx Darksbane... with your tip of the "2 fingers" scroll in deck builder of agotcards worked (tried on IPAD). There are some graphical issue to solve, but since with this tip we can use deck builder we will work improving it also for mobiles.

Just wanted to thank all of you for your hard work in helping out the community.

Now, if I can only get my work to allow us to use something other than IE7, my time wasting powers will be complete!!!

Hope that power of "standard" browser will rise again :-)

I don't usually feel like I'm technology-challenged, but maybe I am. I'll say this though...if I can't figure it out within a few minutes, then it's definitely not user friendly...at least not on my operating system. (No knock to the website or design, which I think are fantastic.)

to be honest, I don't like to navigate via mobile or tablet... I hav an IPAD that I sue ONLY to read comics and actually the 2 fingers tip would never comes to mind without darksbane hint. I like tecnology only when it is compared to videogames ;-)

Logout issue:

today we didn't facing logout annoying problem. Seems that the provider solved the issue moving the site on more reliable machines. Now we asked to solve the remaining "server side" problem that consits in timestamp of messages (you write a message now and the system says you did it 15 minutes ago). Let's hope that also this annoying thing will be solved soon.

Developer's Blog activated

http://www.agotcards.org/blog/

Here you will see sites updates and new features. You can contact developer for suggestion, bugs, cooperation etc.

in order to have a full DB on agotcards, we still miss Promo cards. If someone could be so kind to send me the scans (andrea.gualdoni AT gmail.com), I can import them on the site and create an OCTGN2 plugin.

thx in advance

I've enjoyed the website! Well done!

Thx a lot! We want to start very soon "Articles section". Maybe we will update it when new CP will be released to open a discussion about the new cycle spoilers. I'll keep you updated.

Loving the site, especially the deck builder. It does get anoying though, when you want to look at cards while editing and you then have to refresh the page for the cards you just added to reappear. Maybe add some link on the side so the card opens in a new page or something. Anyway, apart from that, I think its pretty much set.

PS: I'm Zac Dredge on site, been making a fair few decks, and I haven't(well not that I'm aware of) copied any of them. Not trying to brag - they might not be any good - I'm just making it known that I only ever make original decks, regardless of how competive the results are.

Hey Gualdo, just curious...what's the ETA on this? Will it be up this weekend? (No pressure...great site, and I don't mean to rush it. Just wondering.)

Since the programmer has a fever in these days we have a delay in articles section. I think next week we can have it. Anyway for sure for the first set of Oldtown so we will open a thread related to cards that will be spoiled.

Could you please explain better this point? Didn't understood :-) In edit mode you can open cards clicking on their name (with "open in a new folder" is easy, or also clicking on the card and then pressing back button on the browser). Anyway i think you mean something different so explain me better and we will try to increase it ;-)

Firstly, when your adding cards, and you want to look to read them, you have to add them to your deck, then click on them. Secondly, when you click on a card to look at it, it moves you to the page for that card, which is fine, but when you go back the cards you just added are not there, and you have to refresh the page in order to see them again.

K, now it is clear. When you are in the ADD CARDS window you can read card text and properties directly in the box. After adding a card there will be in place a "rollover" funcion that is in the wishlist. At the moment priority has been done to articles section and notification system. Then we will procede with remaining points.

Thx to coop ;-)

Ps I remake a prevoius asking... if someone has old promo scans or can provide me this would be appreaciated and we will update db in the site.

add fan cards (we are already working on this and I'm creating the first Spanish CP > they are great and created great cards)

I don't know what FFG's position is on things like this, but I'd caution you to be careful about implementing this. The artwork for those cards would need to be under some sort of fair use license, and using FFG's templates and icons etc, could be problematic from a legal perspective.

I'm no IP lawyer, so I wouldn't take my word on it, but you may want to consult someone who is, or alternately check in with FFG and run it by them. I'd hate to see the cite get into trouble.

Since i'm not creating the cards but they are created by spanish people i'm not contacting FFG. I saw lots of people getting an avatar with a custom cards using FFG template. I don't know the law, but I hope they will not be so blind to attack a fan art. In that case they for sure make a "not so kind move" against the hugest comunity in the world (that commonly make city tournament with double players than Gencon). Thx for the tip. If some spanish is reading maybe will contact them.
