Placing Rubble Token

By Carlos Castaneda, in Tannhauser

Hi, I hope this is a new question.
Must I put a rubble token when…? (except grenades) :

1) A character makes meteop detonate (see Irishka’s Kaali);

2) Voivod’s self-destruction using “soud” ability;

3) Using Ramirez’s grenade launcher (MARK 19 MOD A1);

4) A character makes “Bouncing Betty” (Ramirez's combat pack) detonate, and how much damages do it inflicts in this case: the rules say “dealing damage in that location as above ”, but above where?

5) Ramirez’s Brothers Bomb explodes;

Thanks to pay attention.

There's no answer: I put you in crisis? ... sorry.

1. meteops don't leave rubble

3. no rubble

4. no rubble if i remeber correctly, it deals for succeses just like a grenade

don't remember how it is with the other two but i'm pretty sure brothers bomb dosn't leave rubble

going strictly by the rules as written (w/ our reasoning):

1. no (only deals 3 auto damage to 1 character & repeat nature could become too much)

2. no (this damage is again directed at a single character)

3. no (he's not shooting at the ground & repeat nature could become too much)

4. no & it deals 4 auto-damage per FAQ (it detonates in the air, not the ground, unlike a grenade)

5. miraculously, no (why wouldn't it? it's just like a rolling grenade...which is why we play that it DOES leave one like a grenade)

This is the Tannhauser staff's answer:

"Here's the answer: None of these pieces of equipment have the Keyword
"Grenade" and so they do not follow the special rules of a Grenade,
placing a Red Movement token. (If you think of it as this: These are
all specifically man-stopper/anti-personnel bombs. Shooting Shrapnel
out to take down targets. Those with the "grenade" keyword are
specifically explosives that "mess up " a room.
As for Bouncing Betty, we will make sure to address this in the next
FAQ. Bouncing Betty should deal 4 automatic successes.

Thanks again for the questions.
