Movie Talents

By Shaun, in Deathwatch

I don't think I can be alone in really enjoying all the talents named after movies in DH and carried over into DW - True Grit, Die Hard, Hard Target, Last Man Standing, Double Team, Master & Commander, Total Recall, etc.

I was thinking perhaps it was time for some more movie themed talents, here are some ideas I had, throw in your own:

Gladiator: The marine was toughened up in gladiatorial combat, he recieves +1d5 temporary wounds when engaged against a single opponent. These wounds disappear once the combat ends.

Terminator: This marine has the skills and training necessary to use Terminator armour.

Braveheart: +10 to resist fear and +10 on Command tests vs. fear

Exit Wounds: Critical results from weapons with the Bolt type are increased by one.

Executive Decision: The marine is known for his decisive nature in battle, codex abilities activated by this marine cost one less cohesion.

Hard to Kill: When a critical result would kill this marine roll a D5, on a 5 he survives and suffers the worst non-lethal effect instead. In all other respects it is as if he used a fate point.

Under Siege: When pinned this marine must move to or remain in cover but can otherwise act normally without penalty.

Universal Soldier: Used to fighting on a hundred different worlds and in space itself this marine suffers no movement penalties in unusual environments.

Street Fighter: Trained to fight with his bare hands this marine adds +2 damage to unarmed melee attacks.

Bloodsport: This marine especially loves the thrill of the kill, after killing an opponent in melee the marine gains a +10 WS bonus on his next attack so long as that is the next action the marine performs.

Collateral Damage: This marine has been trained to maximise the collateral damage from area effect weapons, blast weapons add 1 to their radius when used by this marine and damaging blast weapons do an additional D10 damage against structures.

Does anyone have any other ideas? There must be loads of movies and perhaps we'll get a handful of good talents out of them!
