Boxed Campaigns duration

By Ashgarth, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

I finally have some spare money and i'm planning to buy one of the warhammer expansions. I liked An Eye for an Eye and provably will buy one of the campaigns but before that i would like to know just how long these campaigns are taking Eye for an Eye for comparison.

I ask this because my team RP sessions use to be quite long, we finished that story in just one sitting so if i buy one of the boxes for 25-40€ i want to know it will last at least a few sessions.

For my group (and we played c. 3 - 4 hr sessions)

EfaE: 3 sessions

EoN: 4 sessions

tWS: 8 sessions

tGS: 12 sessions

Got alsmost the same numbers as monkeylite on the adventures we've played through, but we play a bit longer than monkeylites' group each time so:

EfaE: 2 sessions.

tGS: 10 sessions.

We have actually only played those two adventures. But are currently playing trough the adventure in Liber Fanatica 7. Download LF7 and play the adventure in it, I think it will take us a total of 3 sessions to play through and so far we think it's a good adventure. Then you have some more time to ponder what to buy. ;)

But tGS seems to be the longest adventure of those avaliable. I don't know if you have Signs of Faith or Winds of Magic, but those contain (kind of short, about EfaE-length) adventures too. But it could be an option if you want to expand on wizards or priests (and Nurgle or Tzeentch at the same time).

Those play times sound about right. I think the TGS campaign I have put together will last roughly 150 hours.

I can't wait to get started on this with my regular group. I tend to run the games pretty fast though, so we'll see where we end up ;)
