Pre-registration has ended for Realms of Terrinoth, but it’s not too late to make your plans to attend! Tickets will be on sale at the door, so come celebrate the growing family of Terrinoth games at the Fantasy Flight Event Center.
Previously we looked at the Realms of Terrinoth gift bag and the many exciting tournaments taking place at the event. Today we will take a look at the designers that will be on hand to answer your Terrinoth queries as well as challenge a few lucky players to a game or two.

Kevin Wilson
“Some days [Descent] is a fierce contest between cutthroat and determined players, some days it’s a casual romp. Individual quests can be tense or relaxed, serious or funny, skirmishes or wars, and still be uniquely Descent: Journeys in the Dark. It isn’t just a game, it’s a toy box.”
As the designer of Descent: Journeys in the Dark and several of its expansions, Kevin Wilson is a mighty figure whose influence is felt throughout Terrinoth. His devious designs have built the foundation for countless custom Descent scenarios.
Descent: Journeys in the Dark is a board game of tactical dungeon-delving in the world of Terrinoth. One player takes on the role of the Overlord, seeking to bring down the pithy heroes that defy him. Meanwhile, 1-4 players take on the roles of the heroes, equipped with the skills and weapons necessary to thwart the evil Overlord.
Aspiring heroes and Overlords will be able to meet with Kevin at this year’s Realms of Terrinoth, and even have a chance at playing against him in a special Play with the Designer session.
Corey Konieczka
"Fantasy is an ancient idea. Creating worlds with your imagination is an exciting endeavor that has been practiced long before us, and will continue long after us. Runewars is a way to experience fantasy on an epic scale, in an evening, while crushing your friends in the process."
Runewars vastly expands the lands of Terrinoth, as popularized by Runebound and Descent. Shifting focus from the dungeons and surrounding lands of the Free Cities, Runewars creates an epic gameplay experience that spans across all of Terrinoth.
Designer Corey Konieczka crafted a unique board game in Runewars, one that gives players the chance to lead entire civilizations on their path to conquest. Gathering resources, sieging cities, and expanding their armies, players are tasked with acquiring the legendary dragon runes in order to become the true ruler of Terrinoth.
Don’t miss your chance to challenge Corey at his own game! The top three competitors in the Runewars tournament will be pitted against him in an exclusive Play with the Designer event.
Also, Corey has a surprise planned for attendees. His newest Terrinoth creation will be unveiled during the event, so come and be one of the first to learn about this exciting new game!
John Goodenough
“My favorite aspect of working on Runebound is the opportunity to world build. Runebound's large expansions takes place in unique settings and allow the designer to create an entirely new realm to explore. This includes defining the landscape represented by the game board as well as new characters, heroes, and of course villains that need to be vanquished in order to save the world!”
John Goodenough has spent many years wandering around Terrinoth, searching for adventure and sharing his findings with gamers all around the world. As the developer for Runebound and DungeonQuest, he has a vast knowledge of the heroes, villains, runes, and monsters that inhabit the land.
Runebound is a board game that takes players on an epic journey across Terrinoth, tasked with completing quests, facing dangerous foes, and growing in power so they can take on the ultimate threat of Margath, the Dragon High Lord.
Realms of Terrinoth will feature one of John’s latest contributions to Runebound: an end game variant he will personally present at the event!
