Expansion Reprints?

By ChuckFinley, in Arkham Horror Second Edition

So I've been playing some vanilla AH with my friends and it's fun but it feels... small. I've read all over the place that Dunwich Horror is the best expansion, but it's long out of print. Has FF reprinted any of these expansions? Do they have plans to reprint?

I know there may not be information available to answer the question, but any insight that the forums have is appreciated.

lol.

I came to the forums looking for the same answer. I doubt we'll get the answer we want which is yes.

I just got Arkham Horror last week and I was browsing the expansions but the best price I can find for Dunwich is $90 on ebay.

Geez that's a little much for me.

So I hope FFG considers reprinting for people that like their game.

Hello again,

I have answered our question.

I was browsing the site and if you go here

You can browse upcoming FFG games selecting from the down menu "reprints" and "board games" you will get a list of all the upcoming reprints Dunwich is listed for 2/1/2011

So I guess it's on the way

yeah i soon as i saw Dunwhich was OOP i scoured the internet for sites selling them...and found one for $36 with free shipping and it got to me in 3 days...i told a friend the next day and i guess i got the last one because they were out of stock...

I saw it was largely unavailable, but to my surprise, it still ended up under my Christmas Tree thanks to Barnes and Noble! So check your local stores, even ones you might not think of. You might just be surprised!

Is that 2/1/2011 the date that was posted or the date of the reprint? Black Goat says 11/11/2010, but its been the hardest one for me to find.

Meh, that's okay. You'll probably want that one last, anyway ;-)

::Laughter:: no. The components are fun for customization, and it comes with monsters. Monsters are always great!

...now I totally want to see Michael, Sam, and Fiona as custom investigators...

Lol. That would be interesting, except that I don't see their particular skill sets fitting in to the AH style too well... You can't really tactically out-maneuver the Great Old Ones. They are eternal and uncaring.

Hey, what do you know, the answer was under my nose. Thanks for all the help!

Nah, that just means they have more incentive to go for a seal or close gate win. But, they also do enjoy shootouts, too...But hey, they'll succeed one way or another. It's for the kids! (don't forget to make the mom and Jessie, too)

And on a random note, there's an "Ash the Unlucky" character floating around. While not exactly Sam, it's still Bruce Campbell, at least!

Derufin, I just got my copy of Black Goat from barnesandnoble.com. Pretty sure they still had copies so grab yours there. GL.

The website didn't say whether they had any or not, but I ordered one, so I hope they do.
