May I voluntarily not use any of my objects or followers which add strenght or craft? Unicorn for example.

Only option you have is weapons, others are automatic. Some characters might have an option, like Gladiator with his trained followers.

Might I ask you when do you really need to have lower Str/Cft? Sky Screecher perhaps?
Even though it's a valid question, I can't figure out many situations when a lower attribute is desirable.
Yes, it's really rare.
It was the situation when my opponent was on the Crown of Command casting Command Spells. I tried to hang out around the Waterfall in the Hills. To heal and to find the Gong of War to summon my rival down. I drew a weak Enemy. I had a Quest "Kill One Enemy" . I didn't want to kill it because then Warlock would teleport me to his Cave and I wouldn't be able to heal in the Waterfall anymore (I had no gold). I wanted to lose the combat. So I wondered if I really had to use my Unicorn .

Now that you tell me there are some circumstances when you would like to avoid some events, i.e. beating the Lord of Darkness with 8+ bonus because you don't want to reach the Crown.
I think that the only option you have in such cases is to ditch Objects and Followers that boost stats, but I will regret ditching a Unicorn just to have a chance to lose a fight. You're likely to draw many Enemies before you find the Gong of War, it's quite a hopeless situation.
It wasn't so hopeless.
I had the Clockwork Owl .
It ended as a draw eventually.

Ditching items in the Treasure Chamber sucks. As I understood you can not pick them up anymore.

You encounter cards in a space before the space, so you have a chance to pick up any you want, then proceed with the board encounter.

But you can't ditch follower/objects and take again in the same space.
You ditch followers, you move, you take followers in another the space.
If you are facing the Dark lord, you leave objects and followers, you win or lose the combat. You escape somewhere, you have to walk across all the dungeon to take them again with you... (meantime your opponents won the game......)

Yes, in one of our games it lead to nobody being able to kill the Keeper anymore because of a Displacement spell where the caster had put all the cards in his space, if I remember monster total strength was more than 40, and there were some nasty cards in there as well.
