Is the moon-beast a star-nosed mole?

Yes. Then again, I do like looking at animal pictures.

Why is this? Did the artist just use it as a model?

Probably. That's why, when I re-designed all the monster tokens, I replaced the Moon Beast art.

That's when you show us the picture you replaced it with, Tibs ^_^ Did you get something from, say, a DeviantArt, or one of the more "official" looking ones from a CoC book?

Sure, here you go:

In most cases where there are multiple copies of a monster, I varied the artwork as much as I could. At least one token has the original art.

In a few cases (Bloated Woman, Star Vampire, Moonbeast), I replaced the artwork entirely so that the original doesn't exist anymore.

Along the bottom row are new monsters I made: 1 for Dark Pharaoh's "street mummies," and two custom-made monsters.

I'm very proud that all 9 Cultists have different art (even Children of the Goat are different), as are the Deep Ones.

Tibs, some of them are great! Especially the Lurking Fear custom monster :-)

Thanks! Obviously, my inspiration was the Werewolf.

So, however you play the Werewolf's stamina damage ability, you also apply it to the Lurking Fear.

Hm. Ok. I forsee tons of investigators devoured, then ::laughing:: for me the Werewolf is: enters / leaves / stays on the same spot of an investigator, or the investigator enters a location with a werewolf -> damage (more or less). Should be quite interesting to deal with :-) Something interesting to develop in a custom Herald

Oh. Well I don't play that it applies to investigators entering spaces with the Werewolf.

But whatever—just keep that Luck high.

Very cool, Tibs!

How did you go about making these images into actual monster tokens? Print 'em out, glue 'em to cardboard on both sides? Or foam board? Or did you paste them over the original monster tokens?

Same.

same here Tibs... how you did it exactly??? any video step by step??

ohhhh, I almost forgot... I'm fuc**** jealousss!!! u_u

I re-designed all the monsters in Strange Eons (three pieces of art eluded me so much that I just tried to clean up scans of the monster tokens as best as I could).

Then I printed them on sticker paper

Then I stuck the paper onto crafting foam, and cut them out. It took a very long time. But it gave me the chance to fix errors on the chits and add expansion symbols.

Well, the effort looks like it paid off. These are great.
