Not to taunt those who don't have the book yet, but I'm curious on this.
When fifth edition of the tabletop game came out, they suggested having reading groups after you read the book the first time, adn then writing down down everything you missed the first time, things that interested you, suprised you, or you had questions on. Well, there is so much new information in Rites of Battle, that I thought it might be interesting to do the same.
when you have something, write it down as a topic. Include what it is, the page number, and then we can discuss, either how you'll use it in your campaign or otherwise. I think it'd be helpful to help remember the new rules and things added, and maybe give a better taste to those poor souls without it.
I already going without helmets in another thread. That's on page 152.
So I'll start off with Boosting Requisition on page 212. Basically, as a player, you can trade out your renown for a mission for an increase in requisition. If I'm a distinguished marine, I can get an increase in req by going down one level, to respected, and just picking from that level of equipment. I think this could be useful as soon as players get to respected, meaning that for the missions if they percieve they'll need quantity rather than quality, they've got it. Doesn't help us, per say, but helps the player a bit.
