does anyone know

which expansion start to play with the rule around winter and summer?

i bought the expansion called "the war of five kings" last week,

but i found that it had too many cards which used with this rule

The Seasons mechanic was introduced with the A Time of Ravens expansion (for an overview of the chapter packs take a look at the products page). All chapter packs of the expansion contain cards utilizing Summer/Winter (and indeed, not many chapter packs outside the A Time of Ravens expansion do).

There are no cards utilizing Winter/Summer in the A Clash of Arms expansion (which includes the War of the Five Kings chapter pack), so I'm confused by your statement.

Also ktom would point out that the Seasons mechanic is no "rule". It operates entirely through card effects.

sorry, i bought the wrong one. It's "a song of smmer" - the chapter pack for "A Time of Ravens"!!!
