In need of Feedback

By Frostfire, in Rogue Trader

Over here now again. I posted this on the Deathwatch Forums, and nobody has yet to respond.

I made a vehicle reference sheet, and it ocurrued to me suddenly that there are vehicles in Rogue Trader as well. Knowing how well this gone goes means I could do ships and other things afterwards as well, so please, lemme know

You can find it here .

Lemme know!

Nice sheet. Very flash.

This would make a good PDF doc. One small thing that I personally would like is a version for flyers and skimmers / walkers / ground vehicles. I know this means that you have to work with many parallel documents, but a correct vehicle silhouette makes it easier to get a "feel" for the vehicle and really make it into a character in its own right. Having a flyer portrayed as a tank silhouette breaks the suspension of disbelief.

Other than that, very nice diagram that I'm sure will be very helpful to people. You might want to check out some of the other spaceship sheets flying around out there as well. Check out www.darkreign40k.com, think they might have some stuff...

Actually, it's funny you mention that. I did have intentions on doing that, and I have plans for making special ones for bikes, skimmers, Dreads (though I can do walkers too), and air ships. I wanted to start though with a basic one to see how it went first, because if it's not useful as it is now, it won't be useful in other formats.

As for space ship stuff, I thought they had a character sheet for ships, or was I dreaming on that? If not, I guess it's another thing to add to the list.

Great sheet, I agree that pdf might be better though. A ship sheet like that would be cool too.

Aye, a form fillable PDF version of this would be fantastic for my online game. The sheet looks great!

Wow, thanks for the good work.

Threw this together quickly as a proof of concept.

Wow, that is really good. What exactly did you use to make the one up? I was trying to look at stuff, but didn't want to use Adobe's "5 PDFs and then pay a monthly fee" thing.

PS Mind if I use that one on the site? I'd put in my thanks for you, of course.

Acrobat X. Foxit or X-Change would probably work, but even though they use far less resources than Acrobat, they feel more awkward for me to use, so I don't. Anyway, feel free to host it on your site. Let me know if there's any adjustments you want done. I might be able to have it swap out the vehicle graphic based on type, would need to play around with it a bit more.

Hm. Well, I'm going to be working on the other viersion in photoshop easy. So no problem.

Now, since you guys were nice enough to look at this and give me feedback, I'll curtail my other projects of making Dreads and air vehicles for making space ships.

So, which is the best book for looking up the requirements on this? RT or Inott he Storm?

Core book would be fine, Into The Storm doesn't add anything relevant from a character sheet perspective.

Second that.
