i want to ask if those characters suffer always the negatif efects of the cards? or are the negatif efects gone when you exhust them

or are the negatif efects gone when you attach them to the insanity slot. i have read a few topics here about zealot chartecs and blessings when i read the rules i think they dont have the ability to invoke blessings maybe when they change class and become priest maybe then.

The way I understand it is they always have the negative effects. Exhausting the card is just a way to track the career's ability.
