Newbie Question

I am a newer for playing AGot Living Card Game. I have a question

Does anyone know how many card can put in your area? In other word, does player area have capacity's limitation ?

No limitation. In general, if the rules, FAQ or cards don't specificaly limit something, then there's no limit.

thankyou! that's great!

Just to clarify about the play area limit; i'm a new player as well. On the tutorial it shows 8 highlighted spots for each player to play characters and locations. Other online strategy games have limits. I've played games in this set as well (core set) where one side will fall behind, the other house is piling more characters and income. You want to bring some characters on and they don't stand a chance. I've looked high and low on the rule for area limits and this was the first answer i've come across. I'm a little conflicted with an unlimited area. But if that's the rule that's the rule. Is that official? Are tournaments played this way? I just need to hear it again if that's not too much trouble. thank- you.

That is the rule. It has always been played that way. There are no limits to anything - characters or locations in play, cards in hand, nothing. In many games, if there is no rule forbidding something, you can do it. But in this game, unless there is a rule allowing something, you cannot do it. So since there is no rule imposing area limits, it is inappropriate to assume they are there.

As you gain experience and start customizing the decks, you're going to find that the games where one person keeps amassing characters while the other falls behind are the exception. This is a brutal game and characters die a lot. As you gain more experience, you're going to find more and more ways of keeping the board clear. The lack of limits leading to the kind of disparity you describe is not a particularly big problem for most play groups, and certainly not in competitive tournament play.

There is no play area limit, yes thats official and how tournaments are played. Unfortunately quite a few people who watch the intro video think it implies that you can only have 8 in play but the highlighting is not ment to indicate any restriction. Pack a Valar Morghulis or Wildfire Assault in your plot deck to help combat runaway opponents. Also characters like Maester Aemon or attachments like Lightbringer can help you build back up by saving your character from being killed.

Thanks for clarifying. played my first multiplayer game tonight . awesome game. love the artwork. you guys are right on top of this forum- thanks
