Wondering...Crit Tables....

Would somebody be able to make the Critical Tables in PDF for those who would like to have them on a smartphone or whatnot and not have to search through the book?

Not sure if that's enough content to count as breaking copyright or not.

I'd suggest a workaround though: photocopy them and keep them with your character/adventure, or use those little sticky tabs to mark the section in the book. I've seen a lot of people using those little stickies recently and they're life savers, especially considering I've yet to see a RPG book in recent memory with a comprehensive index.

Possibly since we don't put the rules to USE the tables that having the Crit Tables made into PDF wouldnt be a violation. Like putting up the Character Sheets without the character creation rules the sheet is useless for most players.

Character sheets are not a part of the rule set, the Crit charts are. That is where you problem lies.

You'd still need the rule set to properly utilize them. Otherwise they are just a bunch of charts. Either way I'm just trying to get what I already have a copy of onto a PDF without a scanner, since I don't have one. I could easily make an Excel file with it, but I'm looking to make it a PDF.

It doesn't matter how useless they are without rules, it would still be a copyright violation to create a pdf of them for others to use I'm afraid.

Here's one for FF though: How about a 'smartphone GM kit' with a bunch of relevant tables on for a few bucks?

I bought the Core Rule book .pdf for this and other reasons.

LOL I don't have $30 for the Crit Tables =P
