Maps in The Emperor protects

By Octus, in Deathwatch Gamemasters

I am reading through the Emperor protects (especially the adventure Stony Sleep) and I am confused by the maps and the description about the locations in a stony sleep. it seems to me that they are the same.

For instance in the Cenotaph of Achilus. the map has a location named the Guarded Tomb, which has no reference in the text, also the Cultist chamber is mentioned in the text, but it is not located on the map.

The same problem I have with the Tomb City. the Starscape Alcove, the Idol room, the Ruined Portal and the Monolith Field are not mentioned.

Is there anyone who made more sense of the locations and made their own maps? Or maybe can explain it all?

Yeah...the maps don't match the writing at all. Both of the maps are missing sections detailed in the text, and the locations that are depicted don't correspond to where the description says they should be!

In all honesty, you'll probably be better off creating your own map, even if it's very rudimentary.

I was thinking about doing my own maps, but thought to ask here first. ;)

Hiyas!

I too was quite flabbergasted by the maps vs text sorpresa.gif !

This seems to be a recurring problem in the FFG adventures, as the maps in Extraction were a bit off as well.

Peope complain about typos and all that but those formalities don't bother me. However content that doesn't make sense, that is something that I consider a very serious issue. I didn't really complain about inconsistencies in the demo missions because they were for free but in a commercial product this is really not acceptable.

Customer service?

And please FFG - loosen up your release schedule a bit, it seems to be responsible for the astounding number of errors.
