Fighting Daemons

Hey guys,

I'm wanting to have my kill team be sent out to see what's going on with a ship that's been missing in the warp for years and has suddenly reappeared. I'm thinking I want to use daemons and daemon hosts as bad guys. Would the rules for daemon hosts in DH be usable at all or am I going to have to wing everything?

The unbound Daemonhosts with adepted psychic powers schould be more than a challenge...

Would the daemons and things found in the back of the Dark Heresy book pose a challenge for our marines? I know they're geared for lower power level characters, but they still seem like they'd be pretty scary, especially in numbers.

Pretty much anything will be scary in sufficient numbers.

As long as you use Ascended Type DH pskyer/sorcery powers or those found in Radicals Handbook might help. Daemon might try to trick the marines at first and try to get the kill team to kill for it. like maybe appearing as a helpless girl who is asking that they help her find her family that is "traped" in the lower portion of the ship and it is over-run with "scary guardsmen who are mean to her." Doing so might be the first step into unknowingly accepting a dark boon.
