Well I know some of you have played a bushel of games. How many have you played and which versions?
I first started with the mid-eighties version (not sure if it was first or second)
Then returned with 4th.
I have maybe played about 30ish games and probably about a dozen more times solo. The solo ones just sit down in the basement and I play a bit whenever I have a spare moment. Though I enjoy it so much it seems like way more than that. I surely get my enjoyment out of it.
Since April 1989 when I first got 2nd ed I've kept a list of who won each game.
At the moment my group & I are on game 295. 2nd ed has had some changes & we added the Forest & Mountain from 3rd ed, then added extra cards & expansions throughout the last decade.
I'll get around to playing a game of 4th ed at some point. 
Since buying talisman when it was first released and then 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 4.5 editions, I'd guess somewhere in the region of 3000 games. In 1985 we played 204 games in that year alone. I have never stopped playing! lol

No idea of the actual number for 2nd edition, but triple-digits ease. Probably around 30 for BI 4th edition. Only accurate figure is R4th with its 121 logged plays to date.
Talisman is one of those games that I've logged "fairly" well since the beginning:
Wow those are some staggering numbers. I've gotten a lot of my friends to get into the game, but we only get a chance to play every few weeks. It'd be so fun to have a local Talisman league and keep stats. **** I should have asked how many wins too LOL.
Yikes, there are alot of Talisman-hours in this thread.
I dont remember how many times I've played 2nd edition. But I've kept a list on 4th edition sessions.
But since I have few friends that are interested in Talisman, and not to much free time on my hands, and the sessions usually take 7-8 hours each, it's a hard job getting a session started. So about only every other month, so 10 games so far.
Good thing is that I only paint the characters I have played, so there are 1-3 new characters to paint each game. No hurry. And alot to explore still in the expansions.
hm solo seems fun how do u do that r there any rules u impose
I'm playing Talisman (or rather Magia i Miecz) since somewhere of 1995. And similary as Elliott, a lot of times alone (but not all the time alone 
). This is a great game, if You want to test some charatcers or abilities. There isn't any special rules. You just are playing two or three Characters at once. For Spells, You are using them as you would use it normally. For example, if normally You would not cast Counterspell to counter Random, in this game You also won't cast it.
I know in my solo games a lot more characters tent to die, than the games with friends. With a group a game sees the death of 1-2 characters, solo 6 or more isn't uncommon.
Wow... How many times have I played Talisman? I guess I've played 2nd edition at least 80-100 times, 4th edition (BI version) about five times, 4th edition revised close to thirty. Plus about fifty or so solo games.
Are we crazy for playing a multiplayer game solo? I know I don't find it weird, but I bet tons of people would think we are just frakked in the melon for doing so.
