Hey guys, sorry if these are noobish questions but I couldnt find the anwsers to them in the FAQ/Errata so I thought Id ask here.

I just recently bought the PotS expansion and I have two questions about it. Firstly, how does Vengful work exactly? Can I defend with a character that has Vengful to lose a challange and then stand her? Could I attack with a weak Vengful character to thin out my oponents defenses and then stand her because I lost the challange?

Secondly, how does Arys Oeakheart's ability affect my oponent? It says I can discard an Ally or Mercenary when he comes into play but I remember reading somewhere that you can only discard cards you control unless the ability defines your oponent to be eligible for the discard, does that mean I can only discards Ally/Mercenary cards I control with his ability?

Ser Arys Oakheart's ability has no cost - you can discard any Ally or Mercenary character, yours or an opponent's.
