Marking Stance on the character sheet

By Sausageman, in WFRP Rules Questions

I've been trying to wrap my head round this for a while, and am still unclear as to how it's supposed to go.

On the character sheets, there is a space to cross off a characters stance. What exactly is supposed to go in here? Is it simply the stance adds from experience, or is it your current stance (based from career plus adds)? If the latter, how does this change if you change careers to something with a difference starting stance (from a 2/2 to a 3/1, for example)?

Or am I overthinking things? :)

Stance spaces purchased.

It's a sample of your stance meter. There are 9 boxes. The middle box is neutral, fill in each box left/right based on your career and experience gains. It's not used to represent what stance you are currently in.

Thanks, but I think Dvang answered it. I knew it wasn't for what stance you were in, but what I couldn't figure was whether it was your available stance meter (all conservative/reckless spaces, from career and those purchased separately), or whether it was just those purchased. As Dvang says, I think it's the latter, as when you change to a career with a different default stance, how would this be reflected?

In essence, the stance meter on your character sheet is for showing how many additional spaces have been purchased.

I think :)
