Rites of Battle is now on sale!

By FFG Ross Watson, in Deathwatch

Greetings, Deathwatch fans!

The new supplement for the Deathwatch RPG, Rites of Battle, is now on sale!

When will it ship???

OK, really new to FFG so I don't know how you do things normally but when can we expect the PDF release of the book on RPGnow, etc.? I see it's Feb.15th on Amazon.co.uk now but having got the Core rule book and GM Screen in hard copy I'd rather have PDF's.

Game seems great, I'm real excited.

Thanks

Jamie

It usually takes at least a month or two for the PDF copies to be released on drivethrurpg.com. If you don't want the hard copies, you'll have to wait for it I'm afraid.

Although TEP was really quick.

Aye, though "Edge of the Abyss" is still not up for RT. I'd basically expect it to take a month or two for it to be put up, and just be happy if it gets released sooner.

Thanks for the facts.

Barnes and Noble says April 12th on their website. I am somewhat confused.

Barnes and Nobles bases their release dates on heretical chaos sorcery and blind guessing.

Does anyone have any idea when it will be available in the UK? I have a nasty feeling that it might not arrive before the death of my current character...

Book looks great. Happy to have been part of the testing!

Only two issues that I have though:

1. Wish I had noticed during the playtest that the Tau Piranha was included. The description even mentions that it didn't see widespread use until the Taros Campaign. That happens in 998, so we have quite a while before those should be seen. /facepalm

2. I dislike the name "Kill Marine". Oh well.

I laughed. I had always kinda suspected, but now I have independent verification.

So its not in widespread use. Can still be in use.

I guess the Velk'han Sept is pretty far-reaching so some experimental ones could exist.

And the Deathwatch isn't really your average imperial fighting force who likes to make things public. They could have encountered the things many times before 998 and just not told anyone.

I agree and wish to extrapolate this to include all encounters with necron.

There are heaps of Necrons in the reach. They're just sleeping - thousands of years of war can really take it out of you, even if you are a robot. Let 'em sleep in for a hundred or so more years. gui%C3%B1o.gif

Anyway, my copy is ordered. Of course, 'ordered' and 'shipped' are two vastly different concepts that have almost nothing to do with one another. preocupado.gif
