not being a native english speaker probably doesnt help

Just as "psychic" has a silent "p" (pronounced si-kick), I believe psyniscience does too.
Therefore, I pronounce it: sine-i-science
Psyniscience - 4 syllables -> sy - nih - sy - ens
*shrug* I'm from the midwest though, people make fun of our accents, but hooked on phonics worked for me
Sy-nis-si-en(t)s
The (ce) is pronounced as a quiet T
I hadn't thought about it until this post, but looking at it now my enunciation is likely incorrect, but too late now.
psi + innocence

This is how we pronounce it. I thought Midwest was the "stereotypical" American accent.

Ah, it is but it has pockets of interesting accents. Southern Missouri is one of those places

Kaihlik
I opted for 'sy-nih- see -uns', with an English accent. I would base that on a word like 'prescience' (as in foreknowledge of things yet to happen). It also rolls off the tongue better than pronouncing the end of the word as 'science'.
thats basically the main thing thats confusing me: to pronounce 'science' as science or not.
do we have an ordo phoneticus agent here?
Sinny Science? Sighnee Science?

I think it has to be a matter of personal preference (like, for example, how one is supposed to pronounce the bizarrely-named NPC ' Fihad Constantine'). Use whatever you think sounds cool. I like the end of it to sound like 'pre science ' instead of 'science' simply because I would find the latter devilishly hard to pronounce, but I see no reason why it could not be either.
I've always pronounced it "sy-nish-ense". I may be wrong...

Ditto. I assume it is related to the word omniscience- to know all.
Substitute psi for om.. to know psi stuff.

Probably close actually as the noun for Psyniscience, "Sy-ni-scy-ence". The nominal adjective would be "Sy-nis-si-en(t)s" to describe the activity.
Course, I haven't paid any attention to this kind of stuff after leaving high school 20 years ago as it was mostly irrelevant to day to day life

Isn't that the same as the one above? Or maybe I don't know how English pronounce y...
I pronounce is pretty much as I do Omnicisnce, Prescience. See-en. Not like Sci-ence.
On an other note I thought southern misouri was... you know the "South"
Not sure if its 'right' or 'correct', but i say SY-NI-SEE-ENSS
"Cyniscience"
What Friend of the Dork said. Considering that the word is clearly derived from words such as omniscience it should probably be pronounced in the same way. So no sci-ence in the end, more like see-ens.
Besides, this is 40k, science is verboten.
Agree with pronouncing it like omniscience. It rolls of the tongue best.
Also, there is a subtle pronunciation difference between omniscience and prescience. It's om-NI-shen-(t)se versus PREH-shee-EN-(t)se.
Gosh, phonetics are obnoxious. Wish I could just imbed a sound file.
