Okay, so I want to buy the matriarch expansion. I keep reading that the matriarch is overly powered with Zorka and it is unfair for the other player. Is this really the case? I like to play, and I like to win, but I also like it to be fair.

I hear a lot of people also say the Union is more powerful than the Reich which I think is bogus. I think they are mostly even, even though I get my butt kicked by the Reich pretty much every time I play as the Union.

So is the matriarch really that overpowered or is it equal with just different playing styles?

No, Matriarchy isnt overpowered, it is in line with the other two factions- but uses a very different strategic approach to warfare.

Their entire team is based and dependent on one single character, providing support for it and serving as backup/healers/buffers and in the case of voivodes even as dps extensions for Zorka- the matriarchy big hitter.

But remove the team support, from their big hero- or remove the hero from the team, and they will crumble like a house of cards in a windstorm.

Just like you cant play the reich and the union using the same "universal" tactics- you wont be able to do so with the russians either- and that is what i love about Tannhouser- every side feels and plays completely differently.

Zor’ka's stamina is 7, 7, 6, 6;
voivod can repair her;
Zor’ka can rebirth voivodes;
Iriska can repair voivodes always.
I think the castle is made with hard concrete.

Well I think Matriarchy is less overpowerd in REvised Edition that it was in Classic Edition. In any Edition Matriarchy gameplay is about Zor'Ka and the Voivods with the other Heroes supporting them.

I think the matriarchy isn't overpawered versus the Union because the marines have more big guns and in the smoke Zor'ka dies when she isn't protect by the voivodes. when the matriarchy is versus the Reich he is so advantages because heinzinger is good for nothing and I hate Yula.
