Summer Tax on Knights of the Hollow Hill

By Eldil, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

Forgive me if this has been addressed elsewhere, but can you play the attachment "Summer Tax" on a player's house card if he is running the "Knights of the Hollow Hill" agenda (thus making his house card an income-providing card)?

Yes. Since the House card gains the income icon, it becomes an income-providing card. That makes it legal to attached "Taxed Dry" to it.

Something to keep in mind for Taxed Dry is that if the attached card stops being an income providing card for some reason (like losing its income icon), the attachment would become illegal and be discarded. That's not likely to happen with Knights of the Hollow Hill, but if Taxed Dry is on an income providing location that is blanked by Nightmares....

I assume you mean "Taxed Dry" instead of "Summer Tax"?

Yes, I did mean taxed dry--thanks for answering the question I meant to ask, and not the one I actually asked.

Waidaminit.

I just realized something: This also applies to attachments that are restricted to certain traits, right? Like the Bloodriders' weapons, or Ruby of R'hllor or, most importantly, Bodyguard? So if my Lord character with an attached Bodyguard gets hit by Frozen Moat or Nightmares, the Bodyguard is discarded? ****, this is kinda big. I tend to use Bodyguards a lot, and I tend to play against Stark a lot, and they tend to use Frozen Moat a lot. ****.
