Epilogue: There is a card in this set that I find amazing but will hold of mentioning to see if anyone else thinks same…

Thanks for posting the cards.

I do like a few, though I don't see an absolutely amazing card yet. Maybe I'm still to fresh to the game, to have an eye for possible devastating combos :)

The Cards:

-Agency is pretty underwhelming

-Cthulhu is nice, definitely wanna try some of those cards

-Hastur is not so impressing

-I like the Miskatonic Counselor, could be useful

-The Harvesting Mi-Go is actually one of my favourites. He should be pretty helpful in the early rounds.

-No opinion on the ST. I haven't played them yet

-The syndicate cards are okay. The bootlegger is quite nice. A guy that doesn't care that much about going insane.

-Yog gets two good cards. The Intruder is pretty awesome and should get fast into games. The prism is good for filtering the opponent's deck or in combination with things in the ground.

Just my first impression.

Thanks for the spoiler.

Lots of interesting cards in this AP. I am kind of impressed actually.

My faves in order:

Miskatonic University

Professional Counselor
-
Type: Character
Cost: 2
Skill: 2
Icons: AI
Subtype: Investigator.
Game Text: While Professional Counselor is committed to a story, [T] struggles resolve after all other icon struggles at that story.
F9

Nerd Shrink is one of the best Nerd cards yet IMO. This is a pretty powerful effect for Miskatonic. Terror still resolves, but this allows for a better combo for them. An auto include in my Nerd Investigator subtype abuse deck.

Shub Niggurath

Harvesting Mi-Go
-
Type: Character
Cost: 2
Skill: 2
Icons: CA
Subtype: Mi-Go.
Game Text: Response: After Harvesting Mi-Go enters play, choose a character card in your discard pile. Attach that card to a domain you control as a resource.
F11

This is a spectacular 2 drop. Makes the Mi-go subtype a better deck type. Quick Mi-go action.

Syndicate

Clover Club Bootlegger
-
Type: Character
Cost: 3
Skill: 3
Icons: CC
Subtype: Criminal.
Game Text: Fast. Clover Club Bootlegger can commit to story cards while exhausted.
F18

This guy screams for support card attachments. I love Lamp, Shotgun, etc.

Yog-Sothoth

Intruder from Beyond
-
Type: Character
Cost: 3
Skill: 2
Icons: TC
Subtype: Independent.
Game Text: Response: After an opponent plays an event card, put Intruder from Beyond into play from your hand.
F19

*Prism of Many Views
-
Type: Support
Cost: 2
Subtype: Artifact.
Game Text: Each player plays with the top card of their deck faceup. Action: Exhaust Prism of Many Views to discard the top card of a player’s deck.
F20

These are two very solid additions. I may yet be able to play a Yog Mill deck without the inclusion of Hastur yet.

Thank you for the list!

Tokhuah , could you please tell me if the image for Obsessive Detective is one of mine? I was assigned card #1 in this cycle but the name was different and sometimes cards get moved around, so I need to be sure before posting the art anywhere.

Thank you!

@ Tiziano: Yes, it is your card. Now I have a question for you. Is the art modeled after a real person? One of the women from work saw the image and is interested if he is available... gui%C3%B1o.gif

Thank you, I'll post the art as usual, then. happy.gif

I'm sorry but the detective is a franken-guy, he is a mix of two different men... hope the lady won't be too disappointed gui%C3%B1o.gif

I got one question about the Intruder. When his effect triggers, you don't actually need a resource match, right?

That's correct. You are not recruiting the character as usual (pay to bring into play), so those rules don't apply.

Wow okay. That's amazing. Even a good card for non yog factions, pretty much like the Dreamlands Fanatic. I can definitely see some nasty stuff going on with this one.

VERY cool list, thanks for posting it.

Lodge Messenger has a big typo in his name, otherwise, outstanding.

This is the card with corrected name. Thank you Mr. Lewis. I wish this forum had an edit feature (or a history eraser button).

Hmmm, seems like FFG also have a big typo on this card. I don't know of a card named 'errand boy' so the Action can't work. They must have changed the name of the card at some point and were not detail oriented enough to change it both places. Did Marius comment on this earlier and I missed it?

Thanks for the spoiler!

We've already seen half of the cards in various previews, so I'll restrict my comments to the ones we haven't seen yet.

- the Agency and Cthulhu cards are pretty meh

- Hastur's Germaphobia would be nice if it didn't affect printed cost 2 or lower only, as it is: I'll pass.

- Miskatonic's Counseler is quite neat and a very useful addition to this faction

- Shub gains excellent additional Mi-Go support

- Silver Lodge still doesn't do anything for me

- Syndicate's Bootlegger is _very_ nice - probably my favorite in this set

- Nothing new for Yog; the Intruder from Beyond is amazing, though, also for non-Yog decks

No, sorry that is my mistake trying to fix my typo without the cards in front of me. This card is correctly printed as Errand Boy, Again, sorry for the confusion. That card should (finally) read thus:

Errand Boy
-
Type: Character
Cost: 1
Skill: 1
Subtype: Lodge.
Game Text: Fast. Action: Sacrifice Errand Boy to ready a ST character.
