The Adventurer's Toolkit : Is it still viable?

By VegasBatman, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

I'm looking for a little help on this product and opinions from people that have purchased it. Is there still a need and/or value in buying the toolkit? My GM just started running the game out of the Core Set. It's all we have currently. 6 players so things are being shared a lot, but we make it work. I think I might pick up a players vault just to cut down on some of that sharing.

Anyway, is this still a good purchase or has it become somehow obsolete?

No the cards in it are unique to that product. The player vault and game masters vault don't have the cards in the toolkit.

Alright, thank you. So if we want the cards in the toolkit, get the toolkit. If we don't feel we need the cards for those careers we could just use the stats from the Players Guide. Since someone mentioned extra cards in the tool kit being of value, maybe getting a players vault would be the thing to do for that.

I want to get the players vault and GM vault as some point. It's the only two I haven't bought yet, but I am considering it, so I have all the core set actions for my npcs, without taking them away from players.
