Yet another (probably dumb) question

I'm pretty sure I have this right, but just to be sure...

If you for some reason evade a monster but remain in the same space as that monster, then on the next turn, you would be required to deal with it again, correct? You are not allowed to just go ahead and leave the space because you "already evaded it," right?

Yep. It's a whole new turn. Do not pass go, do not collect two hundred dollars, make that evade check again.

That is correct. The longer you spend hiding behind the dumpster, the more chances the horrible otherworldly beastie you're hiding from will have to notice you. >=)
