Thank you for these excellent ork rules.
Orks and Eldar

I'm also still working on the matter of Cohesion for NPCs - technically, they have no way of regaining it short of being accompanied by a character with Touched by the Fates, so I'm looking at alternative ways to approach the issue (one idea that springs to mind is that if two groups in Squad Mode clash, then each time one of them reduces the other's Cohesion, they gain one in return, shifting the balance of the battle).
Well if you are looking for ideas on how to regain Cohesion for NPC's might I suggest a free Challenging (+0) Command check when a member of the Squad inflicts Critical Damage or kills an opponent. A successful Command check increases the Squads Cohesion by one to its maximum starting value and represents the Squad leader boosting the Squad's morale by praising their skill.
So N0-1_H3r3, how goes the Eldar stuff? Just thought I'd ask as it looks like there have been a couple of weeks since your last post on the matter, and I'm very keen to see what you come up with. The Dire Avenger stuff was great!

Official assignments (and I can't say more than that about it) take priority over my own stuff, so this is on hold for the moment.
I basically just need to finish the Swooping Hawks and the Autarch, and then add in the vehicles (Jetbike, War Walker, Vyper, Wave Serpent, Falcon and variants), which shouldn't take long once I've got the time.
Well I for one am eagerly looking forward to seeing the Eldar stuff. I hope you'll be able to find some time for it soon.
Looks like we get some Orks in MoX..
I'll be impressed if they're as well-written as the ones here...
Just to let you guys know, I've almost finished the Eldar rules now - including a range of vehicles. The total contents are as follows:
Warriors: Guardian, Warlock, Farseer, Dire Avengers, Fire Dragons, Striking Scorpions, Howling Banshees, Dark Reapers and Swooping Hawks, all with accompanying Exarchs, Autarch, and the Avatar of Khaine.
Vehicles: Jetbike, War Walker, Vyper, Falcon, Wave Serpent, Fire Prism and Night Spinner
I just need to do a little tweaking and fine-tuning, but that won't take very long, and I expect to have them up by tomorrow evening (British Summer Time)

Excellent! I'm looking forward to it.
There will be a delay in the release of the Eldar document; It's complete, but I'm having net connection issues that prevent me uploading the file to my web page. As soon as those issues are resolved, I will upload the file and let everyone know.
Right, I'm still having issues uploading anything to my web page, so a short-term solution is warranted.
Near the top of my web page is my email address. If you'd like a copy of Children of Isha , my Eldar Adversaries in Deathwatch document, feel free to contact me that way.
On a brighter note, I'm reading Space Marine Battles: The Fall of Damnos at the moment, and have some fun ideas concerning the Necrons...
I sent you an email.
Got it today, looked it over. Its better than the orks. Its seriously good stuff!
I refuse to believe it could be better than the ork stuff!
I like the rules a LOT. Really going to enjoy running some of these guys. The aspects and their exarchs have great flavour. I do think that the farseer could pack more of a wallop though, mind war and eldrich storm should be feared and respected!
Seriously massive credit due for the contribution to the community!
@Siranui: It is.
@telagos: you're right.
@N0-1-H3r3: +1...x1,000
And for the rest of you, I've now managed to get my net issues resolved, and uploaded Children of Isha to my webpage. It can be found at the link in my signature.
Great work, I say.
Wow, that is some amazing work. I have to say, my players are going to love this write up. I really want to throw in an Avatar of Khaine towards the end of my Eldar arc, but I'm wondering if they would be able to handle it .
While I agree that your homebrews for classic Tabletop races are pretty darned awesome, I do have to ask why you've given Ork and Eldar basic weapons such an abnormally huge rate of fire. Unless I'm misreading, both your Ork Shoota and your Eldar Shuriken Catapult have RoF 10 on full-auto - the same as an Assault Cannon or Heavy Bolter. That just seems peculiar to me.
It's a minor nitpick, I was just wondering what your reasoning was.
Autoguns have ROF 10, so the Big Shootas tally with them. And Shruiken catapults are supposed to have an obscene rate of fire.
The issue is more that the Assault Cannon's RoF is squirrelly.
Also: I'm eating my words. The Orc stuff was great, but the Eldar stuff is fantastic. /doffs cap.

Ah, so they do, I missed that - I was assuming they'd be like Lasguns and only have S/3/-. That makes a bit more sense.

The stats I've used for the Slugga, Shoota, Shuriken Pistol and Shuriken Catapult are those from the Rogue Trader rulebook. They're the official ones, rather than my own creation. In as many cases as possible, I've used pre-existing weapon profiles (all Eldar Power Swords follow the rules for such in Into the Storm , for example) from existing publications.
@Siranui: I told you so! hahahaha
But this stuff is great, I can't wait to use it!

Are you accusing an Ork weapon of having too much daka ?
