Meteop answer in faq 1.0

By droesler, in Tannhauser

From the faq:

------------------------------
A: Kaali allows Irishka to place a meteop token. This is the
entirety of this weapon’s attack. As meteops deal automatic
successes, this weapon can be very potent to grouped
characters
.

-----------------------------

Is this a mistake? It seems to imply that the meteop tokens damage all adjacent circles when they explode, while in the rules it is stated that they only damage the character entering the circle the token was placed in.

I think it only affects targeted circle. Funny faq :D maybe we'll need another faq for those faq :DD

I just sent them a question about this one gui%C3%B1o.gif

Would you be so kind to share the result with us when you got an answer?

I just got the answer from FFG about the meteop token:

"That part of the FAQ has been updated shortly after it was posted. The meteop only affects one character ."

Thanks!

I found that the real beauty of Kali isnt direct assault but a strategic blocking of certain paths that can channel your enemies into positions you want them to be. It also works much better against union then the reich.

Why do you think so ? Actually I think it works better agains reaich, because the have lower stamina so bigger chance to inflict some damage.

Well... It could be that Fizzletop thinks that the Union is more path dependent and the Reich can often ignore path limitations with Zermann and Hermann, but he could be thinking of something compleatly different :P

Nope, i was thinking exactly that- dice are often to prone to chance to base any strategies on dice rolls so a point or two of stamina is not such a big deal in my book. On the other hand- especially on the castle map, you can quite efficiently block the union with kali making them rething weather their run in guns blazing are worth the risk of never getting out after that. Reich on the other hand has two strong characters that couldnt give a **** about land mines as they can just zap your through the walls.
