Tannhauser boss battles.

Would it be worth it for me to screw around trying to make rules for them? I got the idea when I remembered I have a useless At-43 wraith golgoth lying around that I paid 30 dollars for many years ago. I figure with alittle blue and white paint to look like energy, it'd make the perfect BA incarnated god-machine for the matriarchy. Then I got hung up on making a George Patton boss battle, say he's injected with alien steroids and covered with illirium and he has a big ol' tank behind him.

I was thinking these would be randomized battles where the bosses do something depending on what # is rolled on a die, and players would take control of afew characters on one team against the boss. Obviously they'd be scenerios with rules on what characters can be chosen, and probably make use of barricade tokens to make a smaller battle-area, etc, etc..

thoughts/ideas?

I was thinking they could be pretty complex, too, adding another dimension to the gameplay.

Matriarchy god-machine:

Stage 1: The diety is charging power at this point and remains stationary in the entrance of the Tesla Priory. The three thingamajiggy's from Novgorad would be shield generators that make the god-machine invulnerable, the players must destroy these to lower the energy shields and attack the boss. Either the boss would be able to repair the generators or the generators would have alot of health so the boss can harrass the players while they deal with them.

Stage 2: The generators are destroyed and/or the god-machine has taken an amount of damage, it adds teleportation to whatever capabilities it can do and now warps around the playable field dishing out super-powerful attacks in the world's worst game of cat and mouse.

Stage 3: I don't know. Maybe it breaks apart into abunch of voivodes or something.

It'd be cool if in the first stage, when you're trying to deactivate the generators, Voivodes would be running around like fodder. They would be a minor nuisance during the first round of the scenario, maybe scoring a wound or two.

I think that Asteros is kind of a boss. I haven't gotten the scenarios from the map pack yet. I was under the impression that Asteros could be semi-controllable/ harnessed in the campaign mode.

I know he is just a normal legendary figure when you him.

The only "problem " with a Golgoth from AT-43 is the base size: it hardly fit the standard circles...
