Updated rules available in newer core-sets (but still the old one as a PDF download)

By toastcrumbs, in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

Hi,

I didn't notice that anyone else has reported this (sorry if it's old news)...

I've just discovered that newer core-sets come with an updated version of the rules booklet. However, the original version is the only one that's provided as a PDF download.

I only noticed when I took a rule book from an older set and one from a newer set, and leafed through the pages of both together.

It's very odd that FFG haven't replaced the PDF download with the latest version that they are including in the newer core-sets.

FYI: This newer rulebook includes Phase 0 and other timing changes, and also includes the rule that a unit has to be assigned enough damage to destroy it (not just damage equal to it's hitp-oints, as in the original rules).

And not a moment too soon! Cheers!

Hi all,

I've just checked, and FFG have now replaced the original rules PDF with the newer one. They've not marked it as being v1.1, but I guess that's what it should be.

I recomend that anyone who has an older rulebook goes and downloads the newer one. It includes the updated turn sequence (beginning of turn, end of turn etc) and the requirement to assign enough damage to destroy a units before any damage goes through to the zone.

Enjoy.
