Looking for Information on the Sorrowful Matins

By Bluegrass2, in Dark Heresy

Howdy,

While reading through my copy of the Inquisitor's Handbook again, I came across the discreption for the Belsco Galvin Needler. What intrigued me, though, was a brief passage: "This pistol also has the dubious distinction of being the weapon used for the infamous murder of Cardinal Tyndale and a dozen other deacons and priest at the famed 'Sorrowful Matins' massacre on Gallowglass [...]." It seems as though it'd be a fairly big even - what with the assassation of a named Cardinal - and I was wondering if it had been touched on elsewhere? I'm really curious to see if one of the current Cardinals in BoM got their position through the assassination of Cardinal Tyndale.

Thanks,

Bluegrass

I haven't found further information on it other than 'Matin' being French for 'Morning'. So, chalk it up to flavor text that begs GM pull something out of their hat.
