FFG and Warhammer

By GullyFoyle, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

I just wanted to take a moment and mention something that has been made clear to me that I was a little concerned about.

While it doesn't seem like that FFG has a big presence here on the forums, the tweaks made to Warhammer 3ed through the guides and vaults make me feel like FFG is really keeping on top of their product.

Changes like the spear stats, party talents, clarifications in many areas, even the new actions provided by the Creature's Vault that modify existing adventures shows a knowledge of where the weakness where in previous publications and a clear attempt to correct them.

I am not suggesting the way they published these changes is not without issue, or that they couldn't have been addressed in the proofing of those previous entities. I'm just saying that I get the strong impression that they have a desire to make this game good. And thats what I'm looking for the most.

While I totally agree with everything you said, one thing stood out and caught my attention:

Changes to Spear stats?!?! Whoa what?

In the new player's guide, they added Unreliable 2 to the spear, since it was believed that it was superior to the Halberd, much cheaper, and much more common.

I don't recall right off if there were any other changes; that was the one that was major at the least. Snap!
