I really think that we get the City expansion.

In third edition, there was the dungeon of doom box (title) that also contains the Mountain expansion.

FFG has release the first big title first, which is the dungeon. After that, came the Highland expansion

The big title from the second box is the City of adventure. I think that this expansion will come first now, and after that, we get the forest, which is the second board from the city of adventure box

It looks like, that FFG is following this line of production...

What do you guys think?

Why not Forest now? Maybe that was random order, now there will be a Forest, and then (as last big expansion) - City. Also, I want to see Artifact cards, maybe they will be even better than Treasure cards

Well... In Sacred Pool we got Stable-like-Purchase cards, so there need to be a break expansion. Just like Warlock Quests from Reaper, then Dungeon (break expansion), and then Frostmarch (again Warlock Quest cards). That's why next expansion will be Forest, possibly introducing again something we have seen in Highland, and the next expansion will be City, which will introduce new Purchase and/or Stable cards.

As far as we can see, FFG is following this line.

Frostmarch with the ice queen was normally a part of the mountain region, but FFG has planning this already beforehand, and decide to bring the frostmarch to the mainboard, and change the mountain region.

I have the feeling, that FFG will do this again, with those stable cards. It's a hint what the next big expansion will be..

Let's say You are right, that at the beginning Frostmarch was planned to be a part of Mountains, but later Mountains became divided into icy Frostmarch and icy Highland.

But Sacret Pool don't have its real theme, unless we will consider its theme as Forest theme (look at SP ending artwork ). So again, looks like the next expansion will be a Forest.

Then small expansion can be a City Watch, and next-next expansion - The City. This reminds me of a book Pratchett's one of the best books - "Night Watch".

We will get 1 raider per everything what can be discarded, but all of them will be covered in Regions. Forest actually is a magical place, so Wood Raiders that would discard Spells are possible.

The next expansions I would like to see are A City expansion then a forest expansion. I was thinking most fantasy RPG's eventualy go to other magical planes. How about putting out elemental planes expansions. Judging by the size of the board there will be spaces between the dungeon and city, highlands and forest boards. Could put a small board in between the expansion boards, call one side an astral plane the other etherial. then with the board extended out you could do several physical plane expansions (earth fire wind water), as well as a metaphysical ring outside of that (hells, benevolent gods planes, nutral planes of nature). The main deck is getting prety big so expanding outward seems like a good way to go for me. Alternatively instead of having them simply ringed arround the board could have planes off to the side and sell each plane individualy. That way could make each board a square board just set them off to the side together forming "the planes". Of course in RPG's planer travel is usualy the highest content, each plane might have an alternate ending. Could also have "visitations" from the gods to the main board or elemental invasions(ie another piece that moves arround like the reaper but has its own agenda). Just some thoughts.

For what it's worth, its US Amazon rank is respectable still, in the same range as Runebound (which has been out for quite a while), markedly better than Runewars which is newer... although admittedly Amazon's not the true weather-vane of any product of any kind.

Anyway.. there must be a reason why it is delayed.

FFG is very busy at this moment if you look to all the news.

Maybe that FFG needs more time, to work on the next expansion. I feel that it is the City expansion, but who knows

Everybody has concerns, but we must be patient.

And I think, but I might be wrong, that FFG would announce that they won't support Talisman anymore. If they didn't do that yet, we should not be worry and not think about candle and Requiescat in Pace.

So how do you explain the huge timespan where we haven't seen any sign of life concerning Talisman?
They don't even answer emails about Talisman...

But lets assume everything is fine...

So they are just busy developing the expansion. They don't have any marketing advisor who could post some bits of informations to keep the 'fans' excited about the game. See the ‘We are hiring‘ news from march. They can‘t handle coordinating game releases which is obvious due to all releases in the last time.

For me it seems there is a big problem. Cause i was excited almost the whole march. Checking News 2-3 times every day. But now I am just pissed about the situation...

Anyway, FFG can better make a good expansion than releasing a bad expansion. So let's give FFG the time they need
