Rule and card questions after my first solo game

By Cthonian, in Death Angel

Hi there , i bought this game before two days and i played it my first time today . I think is a great game and the fact that you can play it alone , it makes it greater..! I am very happy of this investment.. I own the original SH but this is more fun i think ...!!! The only lack compared to the original is the customization..

Anyway i have some questions to ask after my first game..

1) Traveling occurs when both blip piles ( left , right ) are zero or one of them? ( I traveled when one blip pile reached zero )

2) When losing the Librarian you are losing the ability of the power field of the support card? ( I lost my librarian and i assumed that i lost this ability , although i played the support card as normal )

3) In the event phase you must spawn genestealers and move them or you choose to spawn or to move existing ones? In page 14 of the rulebook it says ... and either spawn new genestealers , or move existing swarms.. .... i think though that you spawn and move .. i am confused about this ...

4) Playing the " Stealth Tactics " card , grey team move and activate , you discard 1 card from from both blip piles ? ( a silly question i think )

5) If you make an attack from the overwatch ability you can use a support token ( if you have ) to reroll ?

That's it , for the info i lost .. I made too many bad rolls , i lost the librarian and brother Leon ( with his big gun ) from the second or third round and the final destination was the Genestealers lair with two broodlords from both sides and an enormous sized swarms to gather ... they teared me up to pieces ..grrrr

#1: Either blip pile is empty at the end of a phase, you travel.

#2: No, losing the Lexicanium only weakens the Grey teams Attack Action. Power Field can still be used as normal.

#3: Follow the boxes in order left to right. Spawn the first box, then spawn the second box, if there is a movement symbol "box" as third, then move. So just spawned GS can move/flank if you have the right symbol on the Event card.

#4: You always get to remove one from one of the blip piles if you want. If you want to remove a card from the other one, you have to pay a Support token.

#5: Yes, it's an attack roll. But paying two Support token (one to activate Overwatch, one to reroll) seems wasteful to kill 1 GS.

Thank you very much , i ll try another game with the other three remaining groups of marines.. brother Leon rules though ..

Oh NO !!! this is a reason ( from the many sad.gif ) that i lost the final battle ... anyway it seems that the other space marine in the grey team is an apprentice librarian lengua.gif ...

It's the same on Blue team's Intimidate. Blue's Support is keyed to Sergeant Lorenzo, but their M+A works off either Marine. Mostly it's either the Attack (Red, Yellow, Purple, Grey) or Support (Blue, Green) that are specifically keyed to a certain marine. Unless mentioned, works for/with either marine.

That was help full .. I had that question general in my mind about how the abilities stuck with the marines .. It s true , if there is no mentioned a name in an action card it goes to the whole team..

I can play without doubts now yeee gran_risa.gif
